DAY 15Kubernetes
ResourceQuotas and LimitRanges — Cap Aggregate Use, Default Per-Pod Limits
Day 14 stopped Pods from doing dangerous things. Day 15 stops them from quietly consuming everything. One ResourceQuota caps a namespace's total CPU/memory/Pod/Service usage at admission time; one LimitRange fills in sane resources.requests/limits on every container that forgets to declare them. Together they turn a shared cluster from 'whoever ships first wins' into a budgeted multi-tenant environment — and they catch the obvious failure mode where an HPA tries to scale past the cap.
