Notifications & Failure Handling
Day 69 of 100 Days of MLOps. A pipeline that fails silently at 2am is no better than no pipeline. Today you close that gap with state-change hooks: attach on_failure and on_completion to a flow, and Prefect runs them automatically when the flow finishes — so a failure fires an alert (Slack, email, a page) instead of sitting unseen in a dashboard. You'll watch a failure hook fire the instant a flow enters the Failed state. It's the last reliability layer: an unattended pipeline that tells you when it needs you. Runs 100% locally on any OS.
